Growing up is hard to do

For those of you who know adam know that he tends to have very strange quirks that go along with his personality.... For example throughout college he collected his chewed gum and made his own eiffel tower on his nightstand. I have (almost) always loved adam for his quirks however have found this one totally disgusting and unsanitary. I believe it was my hatred for this statue that led him to move it into our new home when we got married and place it proudly on his dresser. However with the purchasing of this new home we have taken on the mindset that it is a time of renewal and refreshing for us, out with the old in with the new. In the spirit of this new mindset adam notified me this afternoon (with a heavy heart) that he was ready to throw away his prized possession and wanted me to capture one last image of him with his masterpiece.

Adam asked to say a few words.... The eiffel tower was built from 1887-1889, my eiffel tower was built from 2003-2007. I feel that my tower would have outlasted the real thing. In the movies you always see the eiffle tower being taken out by aliens, waves and natural disasters; so when these events come to pass you will then be sorry that I no longer have the perfect to scale replica in gum form to remember it by.

p.s. I pity the junk yard dog that gets ahold of it.
